There are two main ways in which you could get involved in the swimming community. First is consider swimming as a sport. The second is working in the coaching or in officiating field.

However, if you happen to consider swimming as a sport or you want your kids to be a professional swimmer, there are two options. One is joining the Swimmers Development Program that is administered by the association itself. The other is to join a private Swimming Club that would help build their swimming career.
Swimming officials are usually trained just before a competition. Keep a look out for swimming competitions to be an official capable of officiating swimming competitions. Later on, association provides opportunity participate in FINA approved officiating clinics and seminars and ultimately can be considered as an official qualified to officiate in international swimming events.
Swimming Coaching course are of two levels that is conducted in partner with Maldivian National Institute of Sports. Accredited by Maldives Qualification Authority, these would be the foundation for you to be the top level coach in the islands of Maldives and in International arena.
